Purchased for hobby reading as it’s a subject I enjoy.. great book! Very informative on the different species of sea turtles and their biology. The photos are brilliant. Product arrived as described in good condition. Highly recommend. This would make a great gift for friends of family who have a love for sea creatures. Even if you’re not a big reader, this is a book you can enjoy.

I needed a book to help identify photos I found. This book is fabulous - photos, descriptions & insight. Also helps you to understand the possible fate of some of these majestic creatures starting with the egg. Makes you proud to know people care & actually do something. Written for anyone to understand. Beautiful photos/descriptions.

This book is beautiful. From one of the top sea turtle conservationists. It covers almost everything there is to know about sea turtles. The diagrams of turtle anatomy really help to understand these creatures. It is also great that Spotila profiles some of the dedicated conservationists working to protect the turtles. The pictures are stunning. The books large pages do the pictures and the turtles justice. After reading the book, you feel as if you have been initiated into the world of sea turtles. And, an added bonus, a portion of the royalties will be donated to Leatherback Trust. In short, if you like sea turtles, buy this book.

It started out kind of slow but eventually picked up once they got into the actual investigation of the murders. I was not impressed with Hannah, one of the directives in the story because her biggest motives for solving the crime was to impress her colleagues and she was too bossy when it came to her partner. However, I just loved Jacob and his partner Mitchell and the way they work together on investigating murders. Jacob is especially interesting as the older and more seasoned professional. I would recommend.

Omer’s books aren’t great literature but they are fun. His characters are interesting and have their own failings. It wasn’t clear who the bad guys were until near the end. I look forward to the next book in the series.

Not as good as the first. Not the fast page turner I thought it would be, but I would get the next in the series, because the first one was good..

A fairly good mystery. The story leads the reader through two different murders. The characters are well defined. It read really well and I had a hard time putting the book down. I became a bit lost between the two murders. It may be because I read before sleep.

I really do love the author's writing style. Some total laugh out loud moments with the sense of humor that is used in the writings. Would have given this a five star as well, but both murders were cleaned up rather quickly. Pairing that with a couple characters that weren't really followed up upon.

"Deadly Web" is one of those mysteries where you just want to keep on reading. It is well crafted, the four main characters each have a cleanly defined personality, but not overbearing so that they overwhelm the plot. I must say as I delved deeper into the novel, I noticed a strong influence of Ed Mcbain. The graphic realism was so much in his style. It was the first time that I had read Mr. Omer and I look forward to his future releases.

A good book about the young women detective who solves case after case. The latest one is a cyber killer out of many suspects he is the one.

Love how you mix humor and crime.Really looking forward to many more of these books.Not the same old police procedural.
